Our pure vanilla essential oil is made using water vapor distillation. Fresh vanilla plants are used, placed in a distillation vessel to form an azeotrope of oil and water, and when cooled, the resulting oil is our desired vanilla essential oil. Therapeutic grade essential oils are extracted from the seeds, leaves, stem, flowers and fruits of natural plants and are 100% natural, with no synthetic substances, fragrances or fillers. Common essential oils do not fully meet these criteria.

Vanilla essential oils are sweet and strong, and can be used in aromatherapy lamps, or a few drops of vanilla essential oil on a pillow to help relax and help with sleep. Before essential oils are applied to the skin, they usually need to be diluted or blended with a carrier oil before use. For those with sensitive skin, skin testing is recommended before use to avoid possible allergic reactions. Essential oils should be stored in a cool place, avoiding sunlight. After opening essential oils, be sure to screw the cap on tightly to avoid contact with air to accelerate oxidization and even deterioration of otherwise safe essential oils.

Add vanilla essential oil to conditioners, shampoos, massage oils, diffusers, cleansers, sprays, laundry detergents, cleaners, body lotions, creams, bath salts.
